Over 5,600 Exhibitors Attend China Hi-Tech Fair in Shenzhen

SHENZHEN, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) — The 24th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) kicked off on Tuesday in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, attracting over 5,600 exhibitors from 41 countries and regions.
The five-day event will see the display of more than 8,600 items, with a total exhibition area exceeding 300,000 square meters.
This year's fair focuses on innovation-driven development, with exhibitors including state-owned enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises.
As part of the exhibition, China's major scientific and technological achievements during 2016-2020 period are being showcased.
The 24th CHTF has also opened its first water-saving high-tech achievements exhibition, and will hold the first national water-saving innovation and development conference on Nov. 17.
